We are looking to recruit a Field Operations Coordinator to support the Thames Water Contract based at Iver South.

The Role:

The Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for planning the daily fleet logistics, management and motivation of the drivers. You’ll assist the manager in the running of the depot services in compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as contract requirements; liaising with the Logistics Unit Manager daily with regards to all aspects of the operation.

You’ll manage the labour force daily to ensure customer satisfaction, whilst complying with all legislation and the terms and conditions of the Thames Water contract. You will assess potential tipping points, agree suitable and safe delivery access, avoiding potential hazards and restrictions.

The Field operations Coordinator will assist the Logistics department with all relevant driver compliance. WTD, Licence checks, Debriefs, Wheel torques and gate checks; and you’ll communicate with Thames Water at designated sewage treatment works and ensure operational and Health and Safety issues are handled appropriately.

Our Ideal Field Operations Coordinator:

• Sound understanding of road transport legislation
• A good understanding of routing and logistics
• Proven ability to change routing and daily planning at short notice
• Ability to manage and motivate others to achieve business objectives
• An understanding of Health & Safety and waste related legislation
• Ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills
