Are you an experienced Business or Operational Auditor with Waste Industry experience looking to take on a new challenge?

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Operational Auditor to join our team. This role includes a lot of travel to our sites throughout the UK, therefore, a full driving licence is essential.

The Role

Joining our team, the Operational Auditor will provide a discrete and wide-ranging operational audit service that examines Viridor’s business systems, operational practices and compares actual performance and practices against company requirements and legal compliance, highlighting any actual or potential non-conformance in a timely and accurate manner.

You will provide reports, written and verbal in a timely manner and immediately when there is an indication that operational procedures and practices are not being adhered to, which may result in a legal non-conformance or where there is a potential commercial fraud.

The Operational Auditor will report on and recommend improvements to business systems, operational practices, training, staffing levels, general competency, morale and motivation in order to improve the locations business and commercial objectives.

The ideal Operational Auditor:

The Operational Auditor must have experience within waste management and have a clear understanding of waste operations and business systems. You will have strong communication skills and commercial awareness as well as a demonstrable ability to manage change. You will be resilient with strong focus and drive to overcome any obstacles and ensure that you have the right resource in place to deliver the right results.

As well as experience within the waste industry, you will possess demonstrable audit experience.

You must possess a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
