Job description

• Do you have experience of strimming, grass cutting using commercial equipment and hedge cutting?
• Do you possess a full UK driving license?

If you have answered YES to these questions, you could become a fantastic Grounds Maintenance Operative with Countrywide.

Role Summary

Countrywide Grounds are looking for an additional team member for an immediate start to join us at our main base 2 minutes off J27 of the M5 (approx. 20 minutes from both Taunton & Exeter). Applicants will require a clean driving licence and transport to travel to and from the depot in Uffculme on a daily basis.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives, you will take on a varied role and assist us in servicing many types of facilities including housing associations, hotels, NHS, factories and schools. Daily tasks will include:

• Grass mowing
• Strimming
• Using approved herbicides
• Pruning

The Ideal Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• Experience in the delivery of a commercial grounds maintenance service to a variety of customers (e.g. schools, hospitals, business parks, housing associations)
• A working horticultural knowledge of shrubs and hedges
• PA1/PA6 certificate

Having said that, somebody with a little bit of experience and a lot of enthusiasm should not be put off from applying for the Grounds Maintenance Operative position.
