The privately owned award winning gastro pub are looking for aJnr Sous Chefto complement their team. Our Client is a high volume environment where you will be creating dishes for the restaurant, private dining room and banqueting for special events such as weddings. Whatever the occasion, our client combines first class service and accommodation to ensure a memorable experience.
The Head Chef and his professional culinary team produce stunning seasonal menus using the best locally sourced ingredients, including some homegrown from their very own kitchen garden. This establishment serves a variety of high quality meals and has been accredited with 2AA Rosettes. You will have the opportunity to move around sections and the Head Chef will take time to train and develop you as a Jnr Sous Chef.
AsJnr Sous Chefyou will be working 4 days with 3 days off a week.
Qualifications/Experience required for thisJnr SousChefposition:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar establishment, also must have NVQ level 1 & 2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Applicants must be well presented and have good communication skills.
