NVC Lighting are a full-service lighting company offering a wide range of commercial, industrial, amenity and exterior lighting products. Their products are available through electrical wholesalers in the UK and Ireland. This Branch are looking for Apprentices to join their Sales team to be based in Manchester No external lighting sales experience is required but someone with customer facing experience and aptitude is required.  That maybe someone from internal sales or an external sales person in a different sector or at an early stage in their career development.  The individual must be organised, self-motivated, able to collaborate well with their Manager, and create a very positive personal impression and impact with customers. Job Description Primary focus is ensuring wholesale branches are committed to stocking NVC brand lighting products. As some wholesalers purchase centrally, this role is aimed at those wholesale operations where branches have the authority to make their own purchasing decisions. The role will involve building relationships with branch managers, branch buyers and other key branch staff. It will include checking stock, ensuring that any point of sale is deployed, product promotions are communicated and where NVC does have product differentiation, that this is understood and communicated, to all the key branch personnel. The role reports into the NVC Business Development Manager, and the position is measured based on the delivery/deployment of the elements listed above, plus sales targets and minimum daily call targets. It is not technical and no lighting design or advice is expected to be offered, though training and development could be available if a candidate exceeds targets and shows the potential for career progression to Business Development Manager. The candidate may be required to travel to see customers so a Driving License is essential for this role. GCSE / Scottish or equivalent
