Job description

Job title: Junior Recruitment Consultant
Area: Harlow
Responsible to: Branch Manager
Purpose of the role: Generating fees by winning and filling retained roles. Responsible for the growth of your specific business area, meeting financial targets and achieving agreed KPls.
Key duties and responsibilities: 

- Market research
- Taking detailed and accurate client briefs
- Preparing high quality sales proposals with the aim of winning business
- Identifying and head hunting candidates
- Managing targeted advertising campaigns
- Preparing candidate briefing packs
- Conducting detailed candidate assessments/interviews
- Preparing high quality candidate reports and presenting to clients
- Maintaining accurate candidate and client records in line with company and legislative requirements
- Contribute to the growth of the client database by the identification and development of key/target client accounts
- Achievement of agreed KPls and income targets
- Reporting sales activity and figures to branch manager as required

Key performance areas/measurables: 

- Consistent achievement of agreed income targets and KPls
- Accuracy of forecasting/reporting
- Quality of proposals, adverts and candidate reports written
- Quality and number of candidates sourced by headhunting activities
- Candidate and client satisfaction
- New business generated by marketing activities

Person Specifications:

- Graduate Calibre
- Outgoing, confident with proven sales ability gained within a recruitment environment
- Knowledge of Healthcare sector preferable
- Results orientated and able to succeed in a highly competitive market
- Flexible, strong work ethic and committed to organizational goals and values
- Persuasive and able to work effectively under pressure
- Professional at all times
- Analytical with experience of research
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Driven by personal success but also a team player
- Self-managing, organized and able to motivate self
- Computer literate and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, Internet and recruiting systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer focused - committed to delivering an excellent standard of service
- Track record of achieving KPI’s and income targets
- Must be highly organised with sound administration skills
- Good overall knowledge of legislation affecting everyday Healthcare recruitment
