Job Title and Location: Cleaning Site Supervisor - Manchester Role Purpose:To manage and ensure consistent delivery of high standard of cleaning and associated contracted services to the Client’s site in line with the contract specification. Role Requirements: We seek to fill this roll immediately 6 months probationary period £8.69 per hour. Paid monthly Working 37.5 hours per week. To work Mon-Fri 5 days over 7 with occasional overtime, 08:00 – 21:00 hours Cleaning Site Supervisor required to run a team of 4 staff doing on-board and turn around cleaning of trains based out of Manchester Piccadilly station, responsible for rotas, wage submissions, auditing and consumable ordering. Any other tasks identified by the management team. Previous experience required although training and uniform will be given. Specific Duties: - Ensure that the cleaning specification for the contract is fully implemented and adhered to by all operational personnel on site; - Ensure that a consistently high standard of cleaning service is delivered in accordance with the work schedule; - Report any customer queries and complaints to your Area Manager and deal with such as directed; - Control and reduce labour turnover by effective recruitment and training; - Plan staffing requirements for periodic and daily work as directed; - Identify and take corrective action on variations to budget hours under the guidance of your Area Manager; - Monitor and review the performance of cleaning operatives to ensure high standards are delivered and maintained;- Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are fully implemented, adhered to and communicated to all operational personnel on site; - Assist with any disciplinary and welfare issues as directed by Management; - Communicate Company information to operational personnel as directed; - Ensure payroll information is processed quickly and accurately each fortnight; - Complete all contractual administration as appropriate and in a timely manner;- Ensure site supplies and equipment are ordered/delivered in a timely manner within budget; - Ensure all site based equipment is in good working order and/or arrange for repairs or replacements as appropriate; - Seek to develop and extend range of services applied; - Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Compliance instructions and regulations as directed by the Company’s Technical HSE&C Manager and in line with current governing bodies’ and Company’s practices and guidelines.
