Trainer/Assessor (Financial services) Greater Manchester £20,000-£25,000 Our Client, a leading, UK organisation within the training and assessing sector is currently seeking a Training Assessor to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis in the Greater Manchester area. The suitable candidate will be responsible for playing a critical role to support the provision of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme within the Financial services sector. An ideal candidate will have a full, clean driving license and have experience training/assessing within the financial services sector, as well as being a strong leader and motivator. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting learners through their specific apprenticeship training and assessment • Keeping accurate reports and learner records • Ensuring that learners complete their qualification within contacted timescale • Assessing and observing candidates in the workplace, and providing feedback to ensure the learning standards are met • Signing off the award when all the achievements have been met • Agreeing and reviewing assessment plans with learners • Examining candidate’s portfolio of evidence throughout training to ensure all standards are met Key Skills and Experiences: • A full, clean driving license • Previous experience as a Trainer Assessor (Ideally within the Financial Services sector) • TAQA or A1 (or equivalent) assessor awards • Strong communication skills • Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship framework requirements • Willing to work flexibly and independently • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize own workload • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (And Information Technology (desirable)) • PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning sector) qualification (desirable) This is a full-time permanent position.
