Job description

Training Assessor (Early Years and Childcare)   Covering Reading and Surrey   £22,000-£24,000   Our Client, a leading, UK organisation within the training and education is currently seeking a Training Assessor to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis covering the Reading and Surrey areas. The suitable candidate will be responsible for playing a critical role to support the provision of the Early Years and Childcare Apprenticeship Programme.   An ideal candidate will have a full, clean driving license and have experience training/assessing within the Early Years sector, as well as being a strong leader and motivator.     Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring the Childcare Qualification/Framework delivery is planned to meet the company’s contractSigning off the award when all the achievements have been metProviding learners with impartial information, advice and guidance to help them make informed decisions to help achieve their goalsSupporting learners through their specific apprenticeship training and assessment Keeping accurate reports and learner recordsAssessing and observing candidates in the workplace and providing feedback/guidance to ensure the learning standards are met Preparing and reviewing assessment plans with each learner   Skills and Experiences: A full, clean driving license (remote work with some travel involved)Proven experience as a Training Assessor within the Early Years/Childcare sectorTAQA or A1 (Or equivalent) awardsLevel 2 qualifications in English and Maths (And Information Technology desirable)Strong and effective communication skills at all levels Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship framework requirementsExcellent stakeholder management Empathetic attitude and easily approachableAbility to work flexible and independently Able to use experience, initiative and creativity to solve problemsExcellent time management and organisation skills   This is a full-time permanent position.
