As Commis Chef you will be preparing and assisting in creating the finest dishes using local seasonal produce, you willbe working within a team of talented chefsto ensure that all food presented to guests and customers is to high standards maintaining the rosette awarded cuisine.
Main Duties of this Commis Chef opportunity are:
• Run a clean, tidy and organised environment at all times
• Participates in food production, portions meats, fish, vegetables and desserts
• Maintains food quality control
• Maintains a clean and efficient kitchen section
• Take direction and guidance from other team members
• Have a flexible ability and approach
Requirements for this Commis Chef position are:
• Ideally NVQ levels 1&2
• Experience working in a high end establishment, preferably Rosette awarded
• Hotel or Restaurant background
• Good knowledge of cooking and food preparation
• Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
This Commis Chef position would consist of a 4 day working week, ensuring 3 days off each week.
