Job Title and Location: Cleaner/ Cleaning Operative – Alstom, Chester Role Purpose:To consistently deliver the highest standard of cleaning and associated contracted services to the Client’s Centre in line with the contract specification. Role Requirements: We seek to fill this role immediately 6 Months Probationary Period £7.50 per hour Paid Monthly Working 22.5 hours per week. Working pattern - Week 1: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, Week 2: Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday. 07:00 – 18:00 hrs This cleaning role is based at our client’s site a Depot in Alstom, Chester. Cleaning duties will include all routine tasks such as dusting, moping, sweeping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, industrial cleaning of shed of areas etc. Any other tasks identified by the supervisors / management team. Training will be provided for this role. Specific Duties: - Punctuality:- Arrives before the shift start time, books on duty, stows personal items. - Communication:- Is polite at all times, demonstrates customer service, is not engaged in casual conversations and escalates any issues of concern or risk to management. - Breaks:- Agrees any breaks that are relevant with management and takes them at the times directed. - Dress Code:- Is dressed in company uniform, maintaining good personal hygiene and clean clothes. - Staff Relations:- Is polite, responds to requests within cleaning role, does not stand and distract others. Essential criteria to meet: - Be able to deliver a high standard of customer service and communicate effectively with others- Have previous experience as a cleaning operative- Be able to undertake all cleaning duties tasked - Flexible to cover holidays- Have the ability to work the hours tasked without supervision Desirable criteria to meet: - Be smart and well presented- Have effective communication skills- Be COSHH trained- Have previous commercial cleaning experience Documentation that must be provided by the applicant upon request: - Passport or full birth certificate- Visa (if relevant)- Bank Statements with account number, sort code and address- 2 x proofs of address (such as utility bills)- Proof of National Insurance Number- Details of 2 personal references (that must not be relatives or live at the same address) Please read very carefully as before applying for this role you must: 1.
