JOB TITLE:     Care Coordinator/Supervisor- Wakefield - Pontefract - Castleford areas                          FULL TIME HOURS   Would you like to work for a company employer who truly values and  respects their workforce ? We actively reward loyalty and dedication    RESPONSIBLE TO:                        REGISTERED HOME CARE MANAGER We are an established home care provider based in Pontefract and serving clients within the five towns area of the Wakefield district. Due to increased and sustained growth we are looking to employ a care coordinator/supervisor to join the team to help manage our  staff and facilitate the continued growth and maintain the quality of care and services that we provide to our client base. Duties required in the role are:- To assign care staff to care tasks using our rota and care management system. Full responsibility for the allocation of care staff to ensure a high quality service that meets the need of service users. To work as part of the out of hours on-call team and provide emergency cover as required. To act as a point of contact for the carers working out in the field. To act as a supervisor to care staff and complete regular staff supervisions and take part in regular team meetings. To take responsibility for ensuring staff are kept up to date with our training programme. To assist in quality monitoring and conduct regular client reviews. To provide hands on care to our clients as required when covering for staff when needed. Essential Skills:- Applicants must have some experience in a similar role or be looking for their first step into a junior management role and be  confident in their ability to fulfill the role. Excellent interpersonal skills Be able to use a computer utilising Microsoft word and able to use a computerised rota system (full training will be provided). Ability to work under pressure and meet daily and weekly deadlines. Excellent telephone manner. Applicant must have a full driving license and use of a vehicle as this is not a role that can fulfilled without either. In addition to this the successful applicant will need to be a true team player and essentially work effectively alongside the existing  management team. They will be able to contribute effectively to the successful running of the business. This is a long term position  and we are looking for someone who wants to join an organisation that respects and values their staff. In addition to the basic salary  we are prepared to offer rewards based on job performance and commitment in the form of a significant bonus scheme. We are also  committed to providing further training opportunities in order to develop skills and abilities.
