Job description

Internal Account Manager   Permanent Role   £18k - £25k with incentives   Nr, Knypersley, Stoke on Trent    November / December Commencement Date    You will be responsible for managing and developing profitable sales through Account Management, taking the responsibility to achieve an annual gross profit target from the customer base, negotiating and agreeing terms which maximise the return on the resources employed and progress business initiatives at all levels, whilst promoting the highest standard of Customer Service.   Essential Qualifications and Experience   Obtaining (prompting) enquiries from existing and potential customersRegularly review allocated accounts with External Account Manager or Sales Manager identifying the future tactics to secure or develop the businessNegotiate payment terms with existing and potential customers to try to improve the return on investmentUse the pool of non allocated customers to win and develop business and eventually turn them into regular allocated customersQuoting customers for their requirements Sourcing material to satisfy orders or enquires within the timescales agreedFollowing up previous quotations in an organised manner converting into orderEnsure purchase orders are progressed with suppliers to ensure customer’s orders are delivered on timeEntering customer’s orders into the computer system promptly and accuratelyPlace purchase orders, negotiating professionallyEnter purchase order details promptly and accurately into the computer system to ensure the customer’s requirements and delivery schedules are metResolve all customer complaints promptly Highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactiveAbility to meet business needs and deadlinesTeam player with honest and flexible stylePositive approach and involvement with Continuous ImprovementGood product knowledgeFull driving licenseExcellent educational background and communication skillsPresentation skills   Skills and Attributes   Previous sales experienceComputer knowledge covering most Windows Office ApplicationsWorking with CRM systemNegotiation and customer development knowledgeFormal sales and negotiating trainingEnergetic, proactive with a passion to succeed Able to retain a diverse product knowledge   The Hours:   Office Hours Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
