Job description

As part of an exciting transformation programme, we are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join our rapidly growing company based in Stoke on Trent. The Opportunity Experienced in designing and delivering training, you will have ownership for the service delivery for a new suite of training across the business, ensuring that we deliver quality design and learning outputs that are innovative and efficient. You will support the Training Team to ensure that we plan, monitor and maximise utilisation for individuals and teams to meet client demand and commercial requirements, while providing excellent customer service through employee engagement and development.   Key responsibilities Design and deliver dynamic and effective induction trainingProviding exciting learning solutions for operational roles that are focussed on driving performance improvementDesign and deliver ongoing and refresher training across departmentsDesign and deliver new training projects as and when requiredProject management of the design and delivery plansEnsure completion and quality of outputResponsible for the delivery of large scale projects and programmes e.g. new businessReview existing and identify future training requirementsIncluding qualifications and compliance with regulatory or statutory requirementsLiaise with stakeholders within the business to ensure training needs are met and delivered   Skills and Experience required: A strong background in learning design and delivery of training projectsStrong service orientationStrong business acumenThe ability to think strategicallyUnderstand the underlying business and organisational needsAnalytical and imaginative approach to identifying process improvementsLearning industry experience is desirableSubstantial learning design experience is essentialA learning industry qualification (e.g. CIPD, TAP) is desirable but not essential   For the role, requirements for the right person:   Passionate about learning and developmentProfessional, presentable and possess high energy levelsStrong personal disciplines around work ethic.Personable and persuasivePossess excellent written and verbal presentation skillsA keen eye for detailAble to consistently convey the passion and desire to serve clientsYou will possess high levels of drive, ambition and confidenceYou will be a positive individual who is a fast learnerPossess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels   Remuneration   As well as a competitive basic salary we also give you up to 25 day’s holiday Company pension scheme and other benefits including; Dress Down Fridays and weekends Employee of the Quarter awards, Annual Awards evening, Local discounts and offers Onsite parking
