A leading UK independent electrical engineering group delivering design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance are looking for Manual Machine Operators to start straight away on a temporary to permanent basis.BenefitsExcellent working hoursTemp to permWell known reputable companyOvertimeThe roleInspect various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctionWorking on manual machinesTest condition of windings to relevant standardsIllustrate and/or document all relevant data specific to unit’s electro-magnetic characteristics, operating conditions, existing damage or intended serviceabilityPrepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditionsRewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: single phase, three-phase, dc fields, armatures, wound rotors and transformers.Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basisTravelling will be involved to different sitesUsing various machines ie bending and winders.The candidateYou must have intensive machine operating i.e. steel works or working with manual machinesMechanical aptitude requiredYou must have vast experience of using bending machines and windersSafety passportFull driving license neededThe working hours are Monday- Thursday 7.00am-15.30 and Friday 7.00am-14.30. Overtime paid after 40 hours at time and a half. You must also be happy to travel to different sites as per work demand.
