Job Description Supervisor – Front of House Position reports to - The Pubs General Manager, Duty Manager Job Purpose Summary To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Pub in conjunction with the General Managerand the Duty Manager, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and be committed to providing the highest standards of customer service and staff management & motivation Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Maintain a high standard of customer service & staff management at all timesEnsure that all drinks and associated products are served and presented to the company standardMaintain an effective reservations system, maximising the pubs table usage and turnoverEnsure that all current Point-of-Sale is displayed to standard and up to date ensuring staff are trained and knowledgeable on the products and/or promotions on offerMaintain product knowledge and ensure that all drinks, food and associated products are served and presented to the highest standardEnsure that all areas are stocked to the appropriate par levelsEnsure all opening up & close down procedures are adhered toAdhere to the company’s uniform policy at all times when on dutyMaintain office administration to the company standard including the correct and proper use of keys, safes, epos systems, paperwork, delivery notes, CCTV and cashing up proceduresTo be accountable for all cash management issuesTo be accountable for all product delivery and stock management systems including checking, counting, storage, rotation, loss investigation with all stock transfers clearly recordedAssist in achieving all the financial targets set for the pubFollow company security procedures including any loss prevention measuresMaintain a high level of attendance and time keeping in line with your rotaBe available for emergency cover ensuring the pub is fully staffed in all areas, at all times with a member of management present on all shiftsBe aware of and adhere to licensing, Health & Safety, COSHH and other legislation at all timesMaintain continuous development of their personal knowledge and abilities by attending all relevant training courses and completing all projectsAttend any staff meetings as and when requiredCarry out any reasonable instruction given by the pubs General Manager / Duty Manager Mission Statement - Probably a Pub Company Limited ‘To operate the best chain of profitable bars and restaurants in the East Midlands emphasising on excellent quality and customer service from a well trained, knowledgeable and motivated team of managers and enthusiastic staff’  Vocational (e.g. NVQ/SNVQ) 1+ yearsCareer levelManager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff)
