Fulbridge Social Care recruitment team is eagerly recruiting for enthusiastic experienced and non-experienced individuals who want to make a real difference in improving the lives of children and young people who have been placed in the care system for various reasons. This is an extremely rewarding role where you will be providing security, guidance, interaction and support to young people with challenging behaviour and complex needs. Successful candidates will be working in a residential setting for the duration of the shift and will be part of a team to support the young person’s throughout the day with basic tasks such as supporting with meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping. All positions hold a minimum age requirement of 21 and a driving licence is essential for this position as you will be required to drive the unit car and take the young people to destinations such as family contacts, school and social activities. There may also be times when you might have to interact with professionals such as Social Workers, Police Officers and support the young people in environments such as classrooms, courts and police stations. Please note that you would be required to complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programmes prior to any placements being offered.
