Our client, a long established and successful technology company, is seeking a confident and proactive Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers. Responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives, from I.T Managers and Facility Managers to Chief Executive Officers and Managing Directors Reporting to the Sales Director, other responsibilities include: · Prospecting and generate new business. · Developing account plans for each customer. · Developing multi-functional and multi-level business relationships with customer’s organisations. · Maintain and develop the computerised database · Forecast and track key account metrics. · Maintaining an up to date revenue opportunity pipeline. · Identifying and managing the resolution of customer problems to underpin long-term account retention. · Liaise and co-operate with all departments within the organisation following set procedures and conventions The successful candidate will be IT literate, be a strong decision maker with excellent communication and negotiation skills. With the ability to resolve customer problems, you will have experience of liaising with customers both face to face and over the telephone. A proven record of new business generation and experience in the IT/Telecoms industry is desirable but not essential.
