Position: Commercial Administrator Type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:30pm Salary: £16,000 to £20,000 per annum DOE Location: Castle Donington, Derbyshire A prestigious company based in Derbyshire are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join their already successful team. The largest independent company of its kind offering E2E services to all the UK’s major mobile telecommunications operators. Summary of role: Working within Operations/Delivery, the role of the Commercial Administrator is to support and assist the commercial and financial team in the production of client cost submissions, procurement of best value supply chain pricing, timely and accurate invoicing and to take responsibility for all commercial reporting. Responsibilities: Assist with the review and approval of contractors proposed final account statements prior to invoicing and approve applications for paymentAssist with the approval of any legitimate variation or compensation events claims and agree associated costs with contractors and Client in accordance with the terms of the contractAssist Quantity Surveyor with production of Bills of Quantities for the preparation of client cost submissionsAssist Quantity Surveyor with procurement of sub-contract and supplier pricing in good time to facilitate timely award.Maintain and manage details of all costs through various process stages. Track all scheme costs, (evaluation, acquisition, design and final account) PO’s, variations and payments via a database or interim tracking methodologyProduce monthly reports/dashboards showing spend, variation to contract purchase orders and finance exposure across projects.▪ Collate details of all cost savings generated through final account agreement / application control / new procurement process.Manage process to ensure contractors/customers issue quotations within KPI’sChase client for ATI’s (Approval to Invoice) and liaise with finance to ensure invoices are raised on time and accurately.Maintain such data and design and produce accurate commercial reports on Acquisition, Design and Build for input into Senior Management planning and control. Skills/Experience: Preferably 2 years’ experience within an Operational or Commercial area within the telecommunications industryAble to understand customer and business requirements and ensure they are translated into delivery plans.Skilled at managing supplier and colleagues customer relationships and expectations.Note: This job description is a guide to the principal, current duties of the job.
