Company vehicle with a fuel card and phone provided. · An organised and energetic person is required to be responsible for a high number of Cleaning Contracts (Multi Site).Area Supervisor duties will include: recruitment, stock control, training and induction of staff. Plus Quality & Health & Safety Audits, and Client Liaison. · The ideal Area Supervisor: Will have good experience of working within the Cleaning Industry, be well organised and have good written and numeracy skills. · Ideally located in the Bristol area. · Willing to travel and stay overnight in various locations. · The role will involve much travel through South West England and South Wales, working from the home location. · A full driving licence is essential for the role. The ideal candidate should be experienced in the following areas: Organising a large team of cleaning operatives over multiple sites (approx. 80+ sites and 80+ cleaners) Experience in managing multi-sites in a previous role Excellent communication skills required – verbally and via email Customer Service skills and experience Knowledge of rotas, timesheets, Health & Safety requirements and COSHH Experience in liaising with clients on a daily basis Experience in dealing with HR related issues i.e. carrying out disciplinary meetings etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for emails, plus Word and Excel – and the ability to use them on an IPhone. Full clean driving licence required. Please be advised that there will be a lot of driving entailed in this role. A company vehicle (with fuel card) and mobile phone (IPhone) will be provided to enable you to carry out your allocated duties. The area stretches from Hereford/Worcestershire to Oxfordshire & Wiltshire across to North Somerset, South Wales and all in between. Dealing with 30 plus telephone calls a day, and answering just as many emails, providing daily reports and contacting absent cleaners, and or calling stores to confirm hours worked by the cleaner whilst on site. The Area Supervisors also deliver stock to the sites and are expected to clean the sites, where possible, to cover absent cleaners. Hours are working Monday to Friday, however some weekend work may be required. As the cleaners shifts start at 6am and finishing at 8pm – there may be so some early mornings and late finishes required to carry out the role.
